Ms. Tamar Taliashvili informed the participants of the meeting about the Russian Federation's recent pressure on Georgia and asked them to join Georgians in the campaign #Spend Your Summer in Georgia.

“Each of you is a public standing figure in your country, your participation in this campaign will be a great help for our country to overcome this challenge."- said the Vice-President of NALAG.

As stated by Ms. Tamar Taliashvili, recently Russian President ordered a ban on passenger flights from Russia to Georgia. She also mentioned that the most tourists come to Georgia at this time of the year, so such radical change may negatively affect the country's economy.

“This is a big pressure on Georgian economy, but Georgian people decided to make more efforts to diversify the tourism market.” – said Ms. Taliashvili.
